Dr. Valeria Risoli

Dr. Valeria was born and raised in Italy. After a Diploma in Science and a post grad Diploma in Communication and Marketing, she completed a Doctor Degree in Social and Clinical Psychology. She has continued her specializing studies with a II Level Master in Clinical Psychology and Counselling from the University of Parma, a I Level Master in Family Mediation from the University of Rome, and a II Level Master in Clinical and Forensic Psychodiagnostic from the University of Rome. Dr. Valeria also completed intensive CBT training through the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the USA. She did her internships in Clinical Neuropsychology assessing both children and adults.

As an experienced clinical psychologist, she offers individual counselling, assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan for children, adolescents, and adults. She also works with couples offering couple counseling and family mediation, and provides with forensic evaluations. Dr. Valeria is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in Italy and United Arab Emirates (Dubai Health Authority), and Member of the American Psychological Association.

She has worked with children and adults since 2005, dealing with a variety of cultures, ethnicities, conditions and diagnosis. She has personal and professional experience with cancer patients. She has worked in Italy, Seychelles and UAE. Since 2010 she has been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist in Dubai, in the private sector.
