Dr. Shweta Agarwal

Dr. Shweta joined Allied Medical Center in October 2016, bringing more than 12 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging to the Company.

She is the head of Breast Unit and her primary focus with Allied Medical Center is screening and diagnostic Breast Services as well as interventional services. In parallel she maintains a keen interest in Women’s imaging, Musculoskeletal MRI and Neuroradiology.  She is a Specialist Radiologist with extensive experience in reading Digital Mammography & Breast MRI.

She performs targeted breast ultrasound and various interventional procedures that include Breast Core Biopsies with marker placement, Fine Needle Aspirations, Stereotactic Biopsies and Pre-Operative Guide Wire Placement. She has done multiple courses in Breast Imaging and Musculoskeletal MRI.

Dr. Shweta obtained her FRCR (Fellowship of Royal College of Radiology) qualification from London, UK. She is also an active ACR (American College of Radiology) and ESR (European Society of Radiology). In addition, she had been a certified fellow and member of FMF (Foundation of Fetal Medicine-UK) in 2010.

She has various publications in indexed journals and is a key speaker at breast cancer awareness events.
