Dr. Shweta is a highly specialized Breast Radiologist in Dubai and Head of the Breast Unit at Allied Medical Center. She specializes in breast cancer screening, diagnostic breast imaging, and breast interventional procedures, with additional expertise in women’s imaging and musculoskeletal MRI.

She has extensive experience in digital mammography with tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography, breast MRI, and targeted breast ultrasound, supporting the accurate and early detection of breast conditions. She also performs a wide range of image guided interventions breast procedures, including core needle biopsies with marker placement, fine needle aspiration (FNA), stereotactic biopsies, vacuum-assisted biopsies, contrast-enhanced mammography-guided biopsies, and pre-operative guide wire placement.

Dr. Shweta has completed advanced training in breast imaging and musculoskeletal MRI. She holds the FRCR (Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists, UK) and is an active member of the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the European Society of Radiology (ESR). She was also a certified fellow and member of the Foundation of Fetal Medicine (FMF-UK).

Among the first Breast Radiologists in the UAE to earn the prestigious European Diploma of Breast Imaging (EDBI), she was appointed as an International Committee Member for the European Society of Breast Imaging, representing the UAE in 2022.
